Current Summer Makeup
Now that it's coming towards summer, I've decided to shake up my makeup routine a little bit from my pink spring shades to more of a summery gold look so I thought I would show you my easy, everyday summer makeup routine.
Nars Sheer Glow - Mont Blanc
Every blogger under the sun has talked about this foundation but for good reason. Nars Sheer Glow has been a staple in my makeup routine for a few years as it's a medium/full coverage without leaving your face looking to caked up. It also leaves a really nice glow to the skin which I am a big fan of in foundations.
Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer - 001 Ivory
Benefit - Hoola Bronzer
The Balm - Mary-Lou Manizer Highlighter
My favourite FAVOURITE highlighter. This highlighter leaves a lovely glow on the cheekbones without being too glittery. I also find with some lighter highlighters, they can sometimes be too white and chalky on the cheeks however this one is the perfect shade for my skin tone.
Urban Decay - Naked Palette
I much prefer using powder rather than pencil products etc. on my eyebrows as I find it them easier to use and can get a better control of how much product I'm putting on my brows. I find that the dark brown shade, 'Buck', in the Naked Palette is the perfect shade for my brows.
Anastasia Beverly Hills - Modern Renaissance Palette
The Modern Renaissance Palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills is one of my favourite palettes of all time. Most of the eye looks that I do tend to be either purple/pink or more gold/brown so I find that this accommodates that perfectly.
For this look, I use Golden Ochre as my transition colour and run this just above the crease and blend it out. To follow, I then run a mixture of Burnt Orange and Raw Sienna through the crease of the lid and on the outer corner to give a lovely orange/brown effect.
I then run Sidecar from the Naked Palette all over my lid to finish the look, giving it more of a golden and glittery finish.
Urban Decay - Naked Basics Palette
I then pop the black shadow in the Naked Basics Palette across my upper lash line and slightly wing it out just to make my eyes appear a little bigger.
Two Faced - Better Than Sex Mascara
The Better Than Sex mascara by Two Faced has been my go to mascara all year. Not only does it lengthen the lashes but also gives them so so much volume which I love! Truly can't rate the mascara enough.
Lush - Bubblegum Lip Scrub
Kylie Cosmetics - Candy K Lip Kit
The Kylie Cosmetics lip kit in Candy K is one of my favourite pinky nude shades that I have and goes so well with the rest of this look.
